Welcome, fellow traveller!
My name is Jeroen, I’m a travel enthusiast, living in the heart of Bruges— one of the most beautiful and bustling touristic centers in the world. My professional background has evolved from organizing international events, to getting a law degree and now working in financial services.
A few years ago, my heart found a second home on the sunlit shores of South Crete. I decided to build a house there and dive deeper into the island’s rich heritage and the Greek culture. This adventure has resulted in lots of interesting experiences and it still does. I want to share my discoveries on this site, ranging from travel tips and historical tidbits to traditional recipes and personal anecdotes.
